The 10-room Rittenhouse Square Bed & Breakfast in Philadelphia is another urban inn that has seen its meeting business grow in recent years.

“Due to our size, meetings are more intimate and informal,” said Harriet S. Seltzer, general manager of the inn, which adjoins one of the city’s prettiest public parks. “Groups that have stayed here and utilized the entire building include George magazine, delegates to the 200 Republican National Convention and medical groups like CURE International. This December, we have a pharmaceutical group from London that is utilizing the entire building for five days.”
