For the Center City establishment, formerly known as Rittenhouse Square Bed and Breakfast, the change from “bed and breakfast” to “boutique” means added Internet services and computer workstations and round-the-clock staff. It also means it can market itself more confidently to business travelers who associate bed and breakfasts with cozy rather than professional.
